"Damn! I had a ton of ideas in my head before I sat down to write, now it is as vacant as a politicians promise."

Read on and fall sound asleep
I just returned from a wonderful visit with our senior daughter and her senior daughter and son. We watched a sparkling performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” put on by the UT students at Winedale. The whole troupe was better this year than the troupe last year. Particulary good were Jackson Prichett playing BOTTOM playing Pyramus and Chris Fox playing FLUTE playing Thisby in the play within the play. If you ever get a chance to see a play at the Winedale barn take it! Tomorrow I will post pictures from the pip.
We had linner at what used to be KLUMPS. It is now Las Patrons and seems to be a pretty good Mexican restaurant. I had fried shrimp and the best fried catfish fingers I ever tasted.
When I got back Rascal still felt feverish and just snacked on his bowl of fancy feast. I see no sign in his litter box so tomorrow I will haul my eleven dollar cat to the money pit so the vet can give him an enema. Aint no way I would try that myself. At least with my cat I can force him to receive medical care. My wife apparently has decided to endure her problems. I strongly dislike doctors but not to the point of not seeking their expertise. If I have a problem I will keep searching until I find someone who has a solution.
After the vet I will go to the Evil Empire and buy a room air conditioner for my wife’s bedroom. The one in her room is not cooling but is using electricity. Senior grandson does not know it but he is going to get a chance to learn how to install an air conditioner.

My younger sister is worried about our health during the current heat spell so she sent me a picture illustrating how we could get some relief. Of course at our age the reminder was required.

”Eccentricity has always abounded when and where strength of character had abounded; and the amount of eccentricity in a society has generally been proportional to the amount of genius, mental vigor, and courage which it contained. ”
