"Even the most powerful human being has a limited sphere of strength. Draw him outside of that sphere and into your own, and his strength will dissipate."
from Art of Peace

Read on and fall sound asleep

My brother’s son became a father last week. I wish to present Aaron Austin. He was borne prematurely and is quite small. According to the proud grandfather his grandson is a fine healthy specimen who brooks no interference by his nurses. I know my brother will enjoy grandfather hood as much as I have. Somehow the future seems more significant when one has two generations going forth from his loins.

Aaron is my grandnephew according to the relationship chart at dwills. Congratulations Phillip and Lesa.

I was so heartened yesterday by the realization that I had actually hurt my back with exertion. Today I am not quite so happy. Early on sharp stabs of pain informed me that I could not assume certain positions without pain knocking me to my knees. Twelve hours later I am totally POed. Enough with the pain! I can take ibuprofein for the pain but the damned pills put me to sleep. But I am going to take two so I can wake in time to take my evening medications. I hate planning around pills. Tomorrow I will try to bring this thing more up-to-date.
