Waiting

This is painting in day surgery waiting room. Caro was taken into
surgery at about noon. The doc said they will remove necrotic tissue,
sprinkle antibiotics in wound, pack with gauze. Tomorroworning will
exam and treat any remaining infection and repack wound. If still bad
then she will spend another night. She is not happy!!!
Rascal searched for all morning.
for her. He would jump on her bed and "meeaq meeaq", in his strangely
quiet voice with the Bulgarian accent, as if to say 'where did you put
her?'. He would not eat until I gave him a good combing.
The surgeon is the same woman who did my appendix operation. GOOD
surgeon!
