Finally

The doc told me she removed about a square foot of fatty tissue that
was badly infected. Because the wound was so large Caro will have stay
two nights because the wound will be repacked after examination in the
morning. Caro is still grumpy but somewhat resigned. No one has told
her that she may have to spend more time in an assisted facility. The
doc says that she did not have a staph but I cannot remember the long
Latin name that means "infected fatty tissue".
I stayed until visiting hours were over. As I was leaving she was
shouting out orders for the next several days.

Son and grandsons are going to experience more hands-off style. They
are going to be required to do more on their own initiative. I cannot
multitask like grannie and will not.

Caro isuch better than she was 24 hours ago.
